Duane Morris partner Terrance J. Evans will be presenting at the National Business Institute's Advanced Issues in Foreclosure Seminar, to be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Oakland, California. Mr. Evans will speak on "Complicated Priority Disputes and Lien Issues" from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. He will address the following: Race-Notice statute, equitable subrogation, unreleased lines of credit, judgment liens, mechanic's liens and tax liens.
In addition, Mr. Evans will discuss "Complex Commercial Foreclosure Issues" from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. He will focus on possession issues, appointing a receiver, negotiating strategies with guarantors, foreclosing on property that was cross-collateralized and proceeding against guarantors when confronted with breach of contract.
