Duane Morris partner Beatrice O'Donnell will be speaking at the American Bar Association (ABA) 2011 Annual Meeting, to be held on August 4-9, 2011, in Toronto, Canada. Ms. O'Donnell will serve as panel moderator on the topic of "Shattering the Glass Ceiling: The Myths and Realities of Law Firm Compensation," on Friday, August 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Reports demonstrate that female lawyers' median income is only 74 percent of their male counterparts'. The panel will discuss these reports, the law, and how this disparity affects the practice of law. It will recommend best practices and legal strategies to achieve pay equity and promote diversity in the practice of law.
