The Duane Morris Women's Initiative and Pittsburgh Magazine will present a "Work-Life Balance Discussion" on Thursday, July 21, 2011, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Registration will begin at 4 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 4:30 p.m.
About the Work-Life Balance Discussion
Join us for a refreshing discussion that will address how women can strike the "right" balance between their career and personal life. The panelists will encourage attendees to share successful and innovative tips that meet the needs of professionals who strive to "have a life" outside of the office.
Panelists
Melissa Bizyak, Partner, Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP. Ms. Bizyak has practiced in public accounting for more than 16 years and has significant experience in business valuation and tax-related issues for privately held concerns and their owners. Ms. Bizyak is a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative, a Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc., and serves on the executive leadership team for the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" initiative.
Corina S. Diehl, President and CEO of Diehl Automotive Group, Inc. Ms. Diehl has been a member of the auto industry in multiple capacities for the past 20 years. She currently serves as president of Diehl Automotive Group in Butler, Pa., which has received the Toyota Signature Dealer award as well as the Chrysler Five Star Dealer award.
Julie S. Greenberg, Special Counsel, Duane Morris LLP. Ms. Greenberg practices in the area of litigation, representing corporate and individual clients in trial and appellate matters before state and federal courts in a wide range of practice areas. She has extensive litigation experience with emphasis on toxic tort and products liability, environmental, insurance coverage, general commercial litigation and appellate matters. She has represented multinational corporations, domestic and international manufacturing firms, energy companies, hospital systems and venture capital firms in a wide variety of toxic tort, environmental and insurance coverage matters.
Mary G. Pontzer, M.D. Dr. Pontzer is board-certified in psychiatry and pediatrics. She operates her psychiatry practice in Wexford, Pa.
Hollee Temple, Esq. Ms. Temple is a journalist-turned-lawyer-turned-professor at West Virginia University School of Law. She and her colleague Becky Beaupre Gillespie blog about work-life issues, and also write the work-life balance column for the ABA journal, read by half of the nation's one million lawyers. Ms. Temple recently published Good Enough Is the New Perfect (Harlequin Nonfiction), which chronicles how the mothers of Ms. Temple's generation are redefining success and feminism by refusing to settle for lives they do not want.
