Duane Morris partner Oliver Massmann will be speaking at the EuroCham–VCCI Co-hosted Business Luncheon: Update on Decree 46—The Future of Work Permits for Foreigners, to be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, in Ho Chi Minh City, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Vietnam government has recently issued the Decree 46 (revised Decree 34/2008) on employment and administration of foreigners working in Vietnam. It is likely that this decree will cause obstacles and difficulties for the foreign business community in Vietnam, as hiring qualified foreign staff will likely be more difficult. This business luncheon will explore the background and the potential impact of this decree.
