Duane Morris Partner Sheila Hollis to Speak at the Center for American and International Law's 2nd Conference on the Law of Shale Plays

Duane Morris partner Sheila Slocum Hollis will be a presenter at the Institute for Energy Law of the Center for American and International Law's 2nd Conference on the Law of Shale Plays, to be held on September 7-8, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Hollis will speak on the topic of "Current Federal Legal and Regulatory Aspects of Hydraulic Fracturing" on Wednesday, September 7, at 10 a.m. She will address the present state of regulation of hydraulic fracturing at the federal level, the current EPA study and proposed legislation. Ms. Hollis will also provide a detailed summary of the August 2011 Secretary of Energy Advisory Board Shale Gas Production Subcommittee Ninety-day Report and discuss the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) relating to the NEPA Process as applied to interstate pipeline certificate applications under the Natural Gas Act.
