Duane Morris partner Matt Jones and associate Melissa Snyder will be presenting on the topic of "The Impact of Federal Healthcare Reform Law on Healthcare Providers" at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Fundamentals of Health Law course on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In this course, you will learn the basics of health law practice from a faculty of experienced health lawyers. You will hear about the laws, regulations, transactions and complex issues facing healthcare facilities and professionals, as well as the intricate landscape of healthcare reform. Matt and Melissa will be discussing federal healthcare reform law. Topics will include insurance reform; changes to the False Claims Act; new rules for tax-exempt hospitals; new rules for providers as employers; the impact on payment issues; and updates on legal challenges.
