Duane Morris Partners Eric Berezin and Antony Sanacory to Discuss "The High Cost of Noncompliance: Can Your Company Afford It?"
December 9, 2011 | Atlanta
| Law Offices of Duane Morris LLP
Duane Morris partners Eric Berezin and Antony Sanacory will be speaking on the subject of "The High Cost of Noncompliance: Can Your Company Afford It?" at the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. The program will be held at the firm's Atlanta office.
In the face of tough economic times, an immediate (and perhaps understandable) reaction may be to reduce staff and suspend training and other compliance initiatives. This may not be a simple matter as a number of regulatory agencies continue to be aggressive in their enforcement activities, economy notwithstanding. Contractors must remain compliant with a myriad of local, state, and federal laws, notwithstanding a slowdown in business. Mr. Berezin will be discussing an upcoming article he co-authored for CFMA's Building Profits, while Mr. Sanacory will speak on recent changes to Georgia's immigration and garnishment laws.
