Duane Morris Partner Michael Gradisek to Discuss "Wellness Programs and the Law"

Duane Morris and BB&T John Burnham Insurance have joined together to create the 2012 Breakfast Briefings, an innovative breakfast series focusing on minimizing business risk. The inaugural session, featuring Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation chair Michael Gradisek, along with Precept Health Management Center's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christopher Coulter, will focus on the topic of "Wellness Programs and the Law." The program will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (Pacific time), at the University Club atop Symphony Towers in San Diego, California.
"Wellness Programs and the Law" will explore legal issues related to employer wellness programs, including:
- Wellness Programs 2012: Current climate for employer-sponsored wellness programs
- Legal Troubleshooting: Laws impacting employer-sponsored wellness programs, including HIPAA, GINA, ERISA and employment statutes
- Health Care Reform: How the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act impacts wellness programs
- Tips for Employers: What makes an effective (and legal) employer-sponsored wellness program?
