Duane Morris attorneys Frederick Ball and Erin Duffy will present at the Food and Drug Law Institute's conference, Introduction to Medical Device Law and Regulation: How the Government Regulates the Medical Device Industry, March 12-13, 2012, in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Ball and Ms. Duffy will be exploring the issues of "Violations and Enforcement" as well as "New, Emerging and Continually Interesting Issues." The first session will explore FDA's enforcement jurisdiction and the 2009 Enforcement Initiatives; the enforcement tools and procedures being used; the various prohibited acts and resulting penalties; and issues involving drug imports and exports. "New, Emerging and Continually Interesting Issues" will delve into the PDUFA V as well as matters pertaining to regulatory science.
