Duane Morris partner Jennifer Kearns will be discussing the California Supreme Court's recent decision in Brinker Restaurant Corp v. Superior Court in a webinar on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific time).
The court's ruling that while employers must make meal and rest breaks available to nonexempt employees, they are not required to ensure that such employees take their breaks, is an apparent victory for employers.
