Duane Morris partner Mark Silberman will be discussing "What to Do When Surveyors Identify An Immediate Jeopardy?" at the Illinois Nursing Home Administrator's Association (INHAA) Summer Conference on Friday, August 10, 2012, in Bloomington, Ill.
The calling of an Immediate Jeopardy disrupts a facility, strains limited resources and distracts from the provision of care. This session will discuss how to react when a surveyor believes she might have identified an immediate jeopardy and how to respond if an immediate jeopardy is called. The consequences that can result for a facility and its administrators will also be discussed.
