Duane Morris partners Frederick Dreher, John Kauffman and of counsel Robert Pratter will participate in the ParenteBeard "Hot Topics in Insurance" Seminar on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Paoli, Pennsylvania at the Waynesborough Country Club. The seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m. with a reception.
Mr. Dreher, Mr. Kauffmann and Mr. Pratter will lead the session, "Raising Capital, Sensitive Disclosure Issues and Federal Securities Laws." The objective of the seminar is to update participants on insurance industry accounting as well as tax and regulatory matters. Topics will include GAAP/IFRS update, ORSA, IT risks, tax update, raising capital, disclosure issues, federal securities law and statutory accounting.
