The eighth annual Hong Kong In-House Summit brings together leading senior-level corporate counsel, business leaders and private practice lawyers for a day of focused and interactive practice area workshops, plenary sessions and panel discussions on best practices and the formation of strategies for facing the challenges of 2012 and beyond.
Duane Morris partners Giles Cooper and Oliver Massmann will present on "Investment Opportunities, Doing Business and M&A in Vietnam." They will explore the business environment of Vietnam, including the macro economy and potential government policy over the next five years. Topics will also include how to navigate Vietnam's socialist-oriented market economy, how to take advantage of the country's network of international agreements, and what not to do when investing in Vietnam. Mr. Cooper and Mr. Massmann will utilize a case study to provide a detailed exploration of the licensing process in Vietnam.
