Duane Morris' Women's Initiative is pleased to host "Women in Professional Services—Surviving and Thriving in Shark-Infested Waters," an informative panel discussion for women in the professional services industry, on Thursday, October 4, 2012, in New York City. Panelists from leading consulting, accounting, law, engineering and investment-banking firms will share tips and challenges from their experiences navigating the politics of working in the professional services industry.
The panel will be moderated by Vision 2010 founder and co-chair Lynn H. Yeakel, who is the director of Drexel University College of Medicine's Institute for Women's Health and Leadership. Panelists include Rachel Beck, vice president, private placements at Morgan Joseph TriArtisan; Julie Dorazio, vice president and northeast transit market lead, AECOM; Maria Karalis, partner, BDO United States; Elizabeth Powers, partner, Duane Morris; and Charlotte Relyea, partner and northeast lead, McKinsey & Company. The program and question-and-answer session run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception.
