Duane Morris partner Jonathan Armstrong will discuss "Privacy Law: Primer and Update" at the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Section Meeting on Friday, October 12, 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The NYSBA will be holding its seasonal International Section Meeting beginning with a pre-meeting program in Casablanca, Morocco from Monday, October 8, 2012, to Wednesday, October 10, 2012. The meeting will then move to its main location in Lisbon, Portugal from Thursday, October 11, 2012 to Saturday, October 13, 2012. Attendees will earn CLE credits and also have the opportunity to day tours in both Casablanca and Lisbon.
As a co-chair for the "Privacy Law: Primer and Update" session from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Mr. Armstrong will lead the discussion for participating panelists. This session will include matters such as regulation of personal information, privacy rights and expectation of privacy in terms of international legal standards.
