Duane Morris Partners Andrew Mishkin and Antony Sanacory to Discuss “Dispute Resolution Provisions in Construction Contracts”

December 4, 2012 | Telebriefing

Antony Sanacory

Duane Morris partners Andrew Mishkin and Antony Sanacory will discuss “Dispute Resolution Provisions in Construction Contracts” in a Law Seminars International (LSI) Telebriefing on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Construction projects can be minefields of costly and disruptive disputes. All too often, the first time the parties to a contract consider what dispute resolution method would work best is after a dispute arises. They are already stuck with whatever provisions were included in their contract. Different dispute resolution mechanisms available offer a broad range of approaches, each with a unique set of trade-offs.

In this 90-minute TeleBriefing, a panel with wide-ranging experience in construction law and dispute resolution will explain how disputes get resolved through court litigation and alternatives such as mediation and arbitration, the pluses and minuses of each approach and factors to consider in choosing a method and drafting a contractual dispute resolution provision.

For more information, or to register for the telebriefing, please visit the LSI website.
