Duane Morris Special Counsel Michael Clark to Teach at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy's Deposition Program

Duane Morris special counsel Michael Clark will serve as a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy's (NITA) Deposition Skills Program, which runs from Monday, March 11, 2013 through Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the South Texas College of Law in Houston.
The program begins on Monday with registration, followed by the first day's discussions, and the evening concludes with a reception for participants and faculty. The next two days are intensive full-day class sessions.
At NITA's Deposition Skills Program, attendees will have the opportunity to discover the questioning style which bests suits their personality and skill set. Set in a realistic deposition setting, faculty members will guide attendees in working on:
- Eliciting exhaustive, expansive answers
- Theory testing during depositions
- Identifying other useful witnesses and documents
- Closing off avenues of escape
- Successfully dealing with obstreperous counsel
- Knowing when, and how, to object when defending a deposition
- Gaining admissions
