The Delaware Valley Marcellus Association to Premiere "FrackNation" at Bryn Mawr Film Institute
April 10, 2013 | Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania
| Bryn Mawr Film Institute
The Delaware Valley Marcellus Association will host a premiere of journalist and pro-fracking advocate Phelim McAleer's film, "FrackNation," at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Duane Morris is a founding member of The Delaware Valley Marcellus Association.
"FrackNation" was produced in response to Josh Fox's Oscar-nominated film,"Gasland," and provides an in-depth look at many of the allegations made in "Gasland." The movie counters these allegations with evidence gained from on-the-ground interviews with land owners in Pennsylvania, as well as scientists and politicians from around the country who take a different view of natural gas development than those presented in "Gasland."
The Delaware Valley Marcellus Association acts as a new business conduit between gas development companies operating in the Marcellus Shale and the Philadelphia region's rich trove of potential business partners. Founding members of the association include KPMG LLP, Duane Morris LLP, Gregory FCA, and ShaleDirectories.com. The Association will foster a spirit of mutual collaboration that will lead to business opportunities and added value for all.
Tickets for the reception are $25, which include the screening. Tickets to only the premiere are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
