Duane Morris special counsel Michael A. Swit will participate in the FDA-OCRA Educational Conference, which runs from June 12 to June 13, 2013. The conference is jointly-sponsored by the Orange County Regulatory Affairs Discussion Group (OCRA) and the Los Angeles District Office of the FDA. Topics include current issues in generic drug and biosimilar development.
Michael Swit will be part of a panel discussion on "FDA and FTC Guidance on Social Media: Innovative Marketing v. Control" on Wednesday, June 12. The session will cover topics related to social media, including the following:
- Agency current expectations
- Status of FDA Guidance
- Tools available to monitor social media
- Online accountability for manufacturers, distributors and packers
- Using links on the Internet
