Duane Morris partner Jonathan Armstrong will present "The UK Bribery Act 2010—The Toughest Anti-Corruption Standard in the World?" for the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). The webinar will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2013.
The webinar will cover topics businesses in the U.K. and overseas need to understand in relation to the Bribery Act, such as the possible penalty of jail terms of up to 10 years for non-compliance. Mr. Armstrong will assess how to manage risks under the Bribery Act 2010, and how to set the bar for entertainment, including knowing where to draw the line when third-parties offer to entertain staff.
