Duane Morris' Women's Initiative is pleased to host "Women in Professional Services—Surviving and Thriving in Shark-Infested Waters" on Friday, August 9, 2013, at the firm's San Francisco office. Registration is at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 5:30 p.m. and a networking reception at 6:30 p.m.
This informative panel discussion features women in business and legal roles, from startups to established companies, who will share their success stories in overcoming challenges and tips on their experiences navigating the politics of their fields. Johanna Rees, the managing director of Soda Rock Partners, will moderate the discussion and will be joined by panelists Susan Clark, Ph.D., CEO/president of Nevada Venture Accelerator; Trish Costello, CEO and co-founder of Portfolia; and Judy Miles, executive vice president and general counsel for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.
