John SorokoThe list of nations with outposts of western law firms is growing all the time. Khazakstan's got them. Oman? Yup. Papua New Guinea? Darn right, Papua New Guinea.

The list is gaining another member: Myanmar. The Philadelphia-based law firm Duane Morris LLP announced Tuesday that it has established an office in Yangon, the nation's capital (formerly known as Rangoon). The office represents the first outpost from a western law firm in the southeast Asian country, formerly known as Burma.
