Interview
April 27, 2010
Bloomberg TV
Marvin Pickholz, partner in the Trial Practice Group in Duane Morris' New York office, appeared on Bloomberg TV to discuss the April 27 Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hearings into wrongdoing at investment firm Goldman Sachs. He also discusses the hearings' bearing on the Securities and Exchange Commission's lawsuit against Goldman Sachs, alleging that the company and one of its vice presidents had defrauded investors by misstating and omitting key facts about a financial product tied to subprime mortgages before and during the U.S. housing crisis. Pickholz has held several positions with the SEC, including national Assistant Director of the SEC's Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C. and Chief of the Branch of Enforcement in New York.
