Networking Group Aimed at LGBT Community Launches This Week

Scott MarderDuane Morris partner Scott H. Marder of the firm's Trial Practice Group in its Baltimore office discusses his role in the creation of the Maryland Corporate Council, a professional networking group for the LGBT community in Maryland. Scott is a co-founder and chairman of the group, which aims to provide mentoring, networking and educational opportunities. Marder also notes the importance of the new organization in addressing the unique concerns and experiences of LGBT professionals. On January 19, 2012, the Council celebrated its formal launch with an event featuring speeches by local business leaders.
