Philadelphia has a new technology meetup.
It's name? "Philly New Technology Meetup." Simple enough.
It's purpose? To fill the gap left from Philly Tech Meetup, "which appears to have lost momentum," said one organizer, Brad Denenberg.
The first Philly tech meetup I'm talking about was founded in January 2011. It has racked up more than 4,400 followers since. Its organizer has since left the city, and its treasured monthly meetings stopped happening.
