Duane Morris & Selvam Hosts PE Seminar in Singapore

On February 7, Duane Morris & Selvam LLP—the joint law venture consisting of international law firm Duane Morris LLP and Singapore-based Selvam LLC—hosted a private equity seminar titled "The 2012 Sweet Spot for Global Investment: Structuring and Mitigating Risk in Southeast Asian Markets." The well-attended event featured speakers from Ernst & Young, Standard Chartered Bank and McKinsey. Krishna Ramachandra, a managing director of Duane Morris & Selvam and George Nemphos, chair of Duane Morris' global Corporate Practice Group, also spoke at the seminar. George delivered the program's opening remarks. The panelists addressed the growth of private equity investment in Asia, including accompanying risks and strategies to minimize those risks.
