Duane Morris Adds IP Special Counsel Pablo Meles in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, January 17, 2013—Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that Pablo Meles has joined the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group as special counsel in its Boca Raton office. The move further strengthens the firm's national and highly ranked IP practice, while boosting the firm's growing South Florida presence. Meles joins the firm from IP boutique Guntin Meles & Gust, PLC, which he co-founded in 2010.
Meles has a background in electrical engineering and focuses his practice on patent, trademark and copyright law, with a strong emphasis in prosecution, licensing and due diligence. His clients have included numerous startups and mid-tier and Fortune 500 companies—which he assists in developing patent strategies related to telecommunications, electronics, computer and Internet technology, biomedical, green technology and mechanical technology. Meles has filed and prosecuted more than 1,000 patent and trademark applications during his legal career. He is board-certified in intellectual property by the state of Florida.
Meles is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law and the University of Miami, where he earned a B.S.E.E.
