Duane Morris' Warren Zaffuto Named to "40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County" List
MIAMI, August 19, 2010—Duane Morris associate Warren Zaffuto has been selected as one of "40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County," awarded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The award ceremony will be held on October 2 at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami.
The event will feature an awards presentation, a keynote speaker, live and silent auctions and a "Bid for a Cure." Audience members will include leading members of the Florida Bar, the judiciary and local community leaders. The gala event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which aims to assure the development of the means to cure and control the disease and to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from it.
Zaffuto practices in the area of commercial litigation, with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, employment litigation and general litigation matters in both state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in labor and employment law matters, including employment contracts, trade secrets and noncompetition agreements as well as employment-related tort claims, products liability and toxic torts, intellectual property, maritime law, construction law, and insurance defense litigation. He is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, for which he has handled numerous pro bono matters and participated in the organization's Put Something Back pro bono program. The program serves the underprivileged residents of Miami-Dade County.
