Duane Morris Partner Steven Richman Installed as President of New Jersey State Museum Board
CHERRY HILL and TRENTON, October 14, 2011—Duane Morris partner Steven M. Richman is now serving as president of the New Jersey State Museum Board. Richman was originally appointed to the museum board more than six years ago by then-Acting Gov. Richard Codey and served as vice president before being named president in September.
Richman is an avid photographer who has published his work in The Bridges of New Jersey, Mannequins, The Great Swamp, and Reconsidering Trenton. One of Richman's photographs is part of the New Jersey State Museum's permanent collection.
At Duane Morris, Richman practices out of the firm's Cherry Hill and New York offices in the areas of commercial and international law and litigation, including litigation and arbitration.
Richman is second vice president of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, and a member of the editorial board of the New Jersey Lawyer newspaper and its monthly magazine. He is also a member of the New Jersey District Export Council. In addition, Richman serves on various committees within the American Bar Association and International Bar Association.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and California, Richman is a 1980 cum laude graduate of New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, and a summa cum laude graduate of Drew University.
