SINGAPORE, February 22, 2013—Duane Morris & Selvam LLP (DM&S) is pleased to announce that Sarbjit Singh Chopra has joined DM&S constituent firm Selvam LLC in Singapore. The addition of Chopra as a director and co-head of the Litigation Department grows the capacity of the litigation practice in Singapore. Chopra joins from Lim & Lim LLC in Singapore.

Chopra focuses his practice in litigation and arbitration. He has handled a wide range of cases from construction disputes to shareholder actions. He advises clients on strategies for dispute resolution through litigation, arbitration, mediation and other methods of dispute resolution. He has represented lawyers in disciplinary proceedings and has also acted in a wide range of matters to appear in Court as counsel instructed by other law firms. Chopra is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and a member of the Singapore Academy of Law.
Chopra was admitted to practice as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in 1984. He was admitted as a barrister at law (Barrister of Gray's Inn, London) after graduating with an LL.B in 1982 from University of London (Hons). He is a graduate of the International Entry Course on Arbitration Law & Practice by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
