Duane Morris Continues San Diego Growth; Firm Expands Corporate Practice
SAN DIEGO, JUNE 30 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, today added two new members to its Corporate Practice Group. Robert G. Copeland and Stuart L. Sorenson, formerly of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, have joined the Duane Morris San Diego office.

Robert G. Copeland practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and real property law. His experience includes the representation of start-up business ventures, private and publicly held U.S. and offshore manufacturing, construction and service corporations, media firms, financial institutions and real estate developers and syndicators.
Bob has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1987. He is a member of the American and San Diego County bar associations and the State Bar of California. Bob received his J.D. in 1966 from the University of Southern California and his A.B. in Political Science from Occidental College in 1963.
Stuart L. Sorenson practices in the area of corporate law with an emphasis in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, joint ventures and general corporate matters. In the area of mergers and acquisition, Stuart has participated in more than $10 billion in transactions in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, medical devices, biotech, publishing and consumer products. Stuart serves as outside general counsel for several of his clients and has specific expertise in the areas of manufacturing and vendor agreements, distribution agreements, corporate governance, strategic alliances, and general contract matters.
Stuart is a member of the California, Minnesota and San Diego County bar associations. Admitted in Minnesota and California, he is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School.
