Duane Morris Welcomes New Partner Barry Golob; Intellectual Property Practice Group Grows

WASHINGTON, D.C., MARCH 1 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, has added a new partner to its Intellectual Property Practice Group. Barry P. Golob, formerly of Arent Fox PLLC, has joined the Duane Morris Washington, D.C., office.
Mr. Golob's intellectual property practice encompasses all aspects of IP litigation, and he has a wide range of experience in counseling and licensing matters. Mr. Golob was part of the team that successfully represented an office furniture manufacturer in securing one of the largest damages award in patent litigation history. He has conducted international and national licensing negotiations, as well as advised banks and financial institutions on intellectual property security issues. Mr. Golob has lectured extensively on patent litigation.
"Barry's litigation experience and success in high-profile patent cases will be assets to our IP practice," said Lewis F. Gould, Jr., head of Duane Morris's Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Mr. Golob received his J.D. from the American University College of Law in 1991 and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in 1983. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
