New Health Law Partner Nanette O'Donnell Joins Duane Morris
MIAMI, July 12 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, announced that Nanette O'Donnell has joined the firm as a partner in the firm's Health Law Practice. Nanette is formerly of McDermott Will & Emery.
Nanette's practice focuses on regulatory compliance and contracting issues, including advising clients relative to self-referral, corporate compliance issues, fraud and abuse, HIPAA matters, institutional operational matters, licensure issues and managed care contracting. Her clients include community hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, physician practices and other health care service providers.
A board-certified Health Law Attorney as recognized by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education, Nanette frequently lectures on the multitude of issues affecting healthcare providers. She has served as an adjunct lecturer of healthcare law for the Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Miami and for Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
Nanette earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989, where she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her B.A. from the University of Miami, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
