Duane Morris Partner Katherine Benesch Appointed to the American Arbitration Association Health Care Advisory Council

Katherine Benesch, partner in the Health Law Practice Group in Duane Morris' Princeton office, was appointed to the American Arbitration Association Health Care Advisory Council in March 2009, a national group appointed by the AAA to develop dispute resolution solutions for the healthcare industry.
The AAA provides administrative services in the U.S., as well as abroad through its International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). The AAA's and ICDR's administrative services include assisting in the appointment of mediators and arbitrators, setting hearings, and providing users with information on dispute resolution options, including settlement through mediation.
The 13-member group consists of general counsel from throughout the healthcare industry, including hospital associations, HMOs and universities, as well as healthcare attorneys in private practice.
