Bruce J. Rogers, CPA, J.D., is a manager in the Tax Accounting Group where he concentrates his practice in federal, state and local taxation, with particular emphasis on income tax compliance and planning for individuals and corporations. He also devotes his practice to litigation consulting services, in particular, fraud and embezzlement detection, forensic and investigative accounting, marital dissolution and civil tax controversies, and he has assisted numerous attorneys and law firms in a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining Duane Morris, he was a tax supervisor with a regional accounting and consulting firm.
Mr. Rogers is a published author of articles on tax matters and a speaker at seminars regarding tax and litigation consulting topics. He is a contributing author to the Firm's Tax Accounting Review, a tax and financial newsletter for clients of the Tax Accounting Group.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), an active member of the PICPA's Committee on Cooperation with the Bar, the Annual Tax Forum, the Multi-State Tax Conference Committee, the Personal Financial Planning Committee, and the Philadelphia and American bar associations. He has been admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, graduated cum laude from Temple University in 1982 and is a 1996 graduate of the Widener University School of Law.
