Now, in addition, Duane Morris' Washington, D.C. office is the home of the Global Center for Development and Democracy, a nonprofit organization led by world leaders. The Center is devoted to formulating public and private policy recommendations that address the interrelationships between poverty, social inclusion, economic growth and democracy. The group targets both local and global initiatives to promote sustainable development in countries around the world and, in particular, Latin America. The GCDD includes former presidents and prime ministers of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Spain; the former presidents of the Andean Parliament and the Inter-American Development Bank; and the former managing director of the International Monetary Fund, as well as the former Secretary General of the United Nations.
