October 2012

Thanks to everyone who attended the Firm's first annual Alumni CLE Event in October. Duane Morris attorneys and guests enjoyed the opportunity to network while exploring a range of thought-provoking topics on issues, including the Affordable Care Act; social media; and the JOBS Act. This annual CLE event will be held next on October 24, 2013, and is open to all alumni. Come join us to network with old friends and earn CLE credit at the same time. In November, the firm held the first in a series of events for Duane Morris Alumni. This gathering in Philadelphia was a great opportunity to catch up with alumni in the Philadelphia area who left the firm to work in corporate legal departments, in government and in academia.

London Event Highlights Firm's Private Equity Growth

Duane Morris counsels a broad spectrum of middle-market private equity funds and other private equity capital sponsors, as well as their portfolio companies, and sellers of middle-market businesses.

Recently, Duane Morris added corporate partner Pierfrancesco Carbone to the Firm's London office. Piero's arrival marked the expansion into Europe of the Firm's Private Equity Group, already very active in the U.S. and in Asia.
