Fatima Guillen-Walsh practices in the area of labor and employment law. Ms. Guillen-Walsh has experience defending employers before administrative agencies and in state and federal court for a variety of labor and employment matters, including: claims related to discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and hostile work environment; whistleblower claims; breach of contract claims; Title III ADA accessibility claims; and, class and collective actions. Ms. Guillen-Walsh frequently provides preventive advice and counseling to employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including performance management, reasonable accommodations, discipline and terminations, and reductions in force. Ms. Guillen-Walsh also regularly drafts and reviews separation agreements, employee handbooks, and personnel policies.

 Ms. Guillen-Walsh is a 2017 graduate of Hofstra University, Maurice A. Deane School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and received the Distinguished Service to the School Award. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Guillen-Walsh graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University and served as President of the Eta Eta Chapter of Alpha Phi Fraternity. She is proficient in conversational Spanish.
