CALIFORNIA, August 20, 2024—Duane Morris LLP has been recognized across two categories of The Recorder’s 2024 California Legal Awards. The awards celebrate the achievements of lawyers and companies leading technology, innovation and the profession as a whole. Winners in each category will be announced at the California Legal Awards ceremony recognizing all honorees and finalists on October 15 at the JW Marriott Live in Los Angeles.

Distinguished Leader, Winner – Terrance J. Evans

The Distinguished Leader Award honors leaders who have implemented major achievements in the last year (leading their firms to record revenue, spearheading large-scale office relocations, implementing new programs or technology and being at the forefront of significant pro bono matters).

Terrance J. Evans is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with substantial appellate experience who has secured victories for clients in numerous multimillion-dollar cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts across the United States. During his more than 20 years of practice, Evans has made history multiple times and distinguished himself as a leader in several of the largest bar associations in the United States. Evans is also a dynamic speaker who gives presentations on legal issues across the United States and around the world.

Finalist – Innovation in Diversity and Inclusion – Duane Morris

This award honors law firms that recognize successful partnerships between legal industry players that advance women attorneys, lawyers of color and other underrepresented groups.
