Hal S. Margolit has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of federal, state and local income taxation with a particular emphasis in income tax compliance, planning and tax minimization strategies for high net worth individuals, groups of affiliated business entities, corporations, partnerships, trusts and non-profit organizations. He also devotes his practice to tax representation before federal, state and local taxing authorities. Prior to joining Duane Morris, he was a manager with local, regional and international CPA firms.
Mr. Margolit is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and has attained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation through the AICPA. He graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Economics and Finance, and from Drexel University with a Masters degree in Taxation.
