Sean R. Schoppy, EA, MBA, with nearly a decade of experience, practices in the areas of federal, state, and local income taxation, with particular emphasis on tax compliance, planning and tax minimization strategies for a diverse client base including estates, trusts and high net worth individuals and families. He also represents clients before federal, state and local taxing authorities in civil tax controversies. Prior to joining the Tax Accounting Group, he was a senior tax accountant with an international CPA firm where he led best practice training programs for national fiduciary administrators.
He is a contributing author to the Tax Accounting Group's Client Alerts and other tax and financial publications designed specifically for our clients. Mr. Schoppy is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent. He graduated summa cum laude from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance.
