Alexander T. Batton

Alexander Batton is an associate in the firm's Corporate Practice Group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance and general corporate counseling.

Alexander represents investors, business owners, and public and private companies in a wide range of domestic and international transactions, including asset and stock acquisitions and dispositions. He has experience advising clients across a variety of industries, including life sciences, international logistics, automotive dealerships, nursing homes and cosmetics.

He regularly drafts and negotiates transactional documents, including purchase agreements, organizational documents, financing agreements and commercial contracts. Alexander also advises clients on corporate governance matters, capital raises, tax reorganizations and general business operations, and serves as outside general counsel to companies in multiple sectors. In addition, Alexander has experience in real estate and finance matters, including drafting purchase and lease agreements, negotiating loan documents and structuring complex transactions, such as like-kind exchanges.
