Alexander W. Judd practices in the area of corporate law, representing electric and gas third party retail suppliers nationwide in competitive retail markets. He also represents renewable energy developers in project construction, including drafting contracts, like PPAs, EPCs and O&Ms, and before state public utility commissions, and represents investors in due diligence for renewable portfolio investments.
Mr. Judd appears frequently before the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA). He also monitors regulatory developments in the energy and utilities field throughout New England. Mr. Judd previously served as the legislative attorney to the Energy and Technology Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly and previously interned for Eversource Energy, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Bureau of Energy and Technology Policy and the Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel.
Mr. Judd is a 2012 graduate of the University of Connecticut Law School and a cum laude graduate of The George Washington University.
