Ana Paula Barroso is an associate in the Trial Practice Group at Duane Morris. She represents clients in complex commercial and international litigation matters. Drawing on her dual legal education in the United States and Brazil, she brings a cross-border perspective to her practice and has experience with a wide range of litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research and due diligence, and participating in business development and client meetings. Prior to becoming an associate, Ms. Barroso served as a law clerk at the firm.
Ms. Barroso earned her J.D./LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law, where she received the International Arbitration Scholarship and was honored for her oral advocacy at Moot Madrid 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Positivo in Curitiba, Brazil. Before relocating to the United States, she practiced civil and criminal litigation and served as a judicial law clerk at the State Court of Appeals in Brazil.
She is admitted to practice in Florida and Brazil. A native Portuguese speaker, she is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Italian and French.
