Brandon Carmack is a senior associate in the firm’s Trial Practice Group. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes and matters involving soft intellectual property such as trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Brandon has experience handling all phases of litigation in federal and state courts, from initial case strategy through discovery, motion practice, expert depositions, and trial. He regularly drafts dispositive motions and briefs, manages discovery in large and complex matters, and argues motions and hearings before courts.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Brandon practiced at national and regional law firms where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of commercial and IP litigation matters. He also has experience preparing matters for mediation, evaluating litigation risk, and advising clients on strategic resolution options.
Brandon earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was published in the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. He received his B.A. in Political Economy from Hillsdale College.
