Christopher W. Healy represents litigants in commercial, financial services, mass tort/product liability, insurance, healthcare, and antitrust litigation, serving as trial and national counsel in a variety of complex and individual matters. He has litigated a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, across the U.S. and overseas, including serving as counsel to international financial institutions, media conglomerates, industrial and specialty manufacturing companies, life sciences and healthcare companies, private equity and hedge funds, pharmaceutical companies and counsel in 9/11-related World Trade Center litigation.
Mr. Healy has also successfully handled consumer product, healthcare and life sciences class actions, complex insurance coverage actions and financial investment and corporate transactional disputes involving a variety of legal and factual issues, including sales practices, drug and medical devices, product and design defect, financial products, real estate, toxic and environmental exposures, trade secrets and punitive/exemplary damages. He has been involved in all aspects of strategic planning, both before and after litigation has commenced, and has extensive experience in pre-trial discovery and motion practice, including all phases of expert discovery, electronic discovery and deposition discovery, and in trial preparation and trial. He also counsels clients on a wide range of risk assessment and insurance-related issues and topics, including commercial insurance coverage, D&O liability and insurance, property insurance, insurance placements and renewals, reinsurance, product safety and warnings, labeling and mass tort liability issues.
Mr. Healy is a 1993 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
