Dania D. Moreno, PC is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on domestic and cross-border real estate and corporate transactions. Having studied and practiced law in both the United States and Mexico, Dania brings a deep understanding of cross-border legal, commercial and cultural considerations to high-volume portfolio transactions.
Dania regularly represents luxury brands, developers, REITs and major asset managers in complex real estate matters, including hospitality, retail, industrial and residential projects. Licensed in Texas and Mexico, she advises clients on transactions throughout Mexico and across Texas, with a particular focus on retail and industrial developments. Her experience spans all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing; purchase and sale agreements; development agreements; construction contracts; management agreements; and related due diligence.
In addition to her real estate practice, Dania advises clients on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and financing transactions across a range of industries. She has represented real estate investment trusts, timeshare companies, lenders, hospitality industry clients and asset managers in multimillion-dollar transactions, as well as in regulatory matters, including responses to the Consumer Protection Agency in Mexico.
Dania earned her J.D. from Universidad de Monterrey and her LL.M. from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Mexico and is an active member of the firm’s Private Equity, Construction & Engineering, and Technology, Media & Telecom teams. Dania is fluent in Spanish.
