Daniel B. Heidtke is a trial attorney with jury trial experience. Mr. Heidtke has experience with complex civil litigation, commercial litigation, employment matters and white-collar criminal defense, and is licensed to practice in four states, including California, Illinois, Nevada and Washington. Mr. Heidtke has experience in state, federal and multidistrict courts, including single plaintiff and mass tort actions. In state and federal court, Mr. Heidtke has successfully defended clients in premises, products and professional liability matters.

Mr. Heidtke also has experience with complex contract claims, including representing insurers in high-stake coverage litigation involving disputes arising from construction, environmental and product liability claims. He is the Secretary of the Section for Insurance and Health Law for the Nevada State Bar, and incoming Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division’s Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Committee.

Mr. Heidtke has experience in First Amendment and media law, including the defense of individuals and entities in actions alleging defamation, libel, invasion of privacy, fraud and promissory estoppel. Mr. Heidtke has experience litigating Nevada’s anti-SLAPP statute and has defended individuals and entities for actions relating to Internet publications.

Mr. Heidtke has secured successful results for clients in real estate litigation, including disputed residential foreclosure matters, cases related to investor purchase and acquisition of properties, and representation of property managers.
Mr. Heidtke also enjoys working with and advising small businesses and emerging companies on intellectual property, contract and corporate matters.

Mr. Heidtke is a 2012 cum laude graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was associate editor of the Loyola Consumer Law Review, a student fellow for the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies, and during which time he completed internships with a federal and a state court judge. Mr. Heidtke is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
