David A. Goldstein is a member of the firm’s Trial Practice Group. Mr. Goldstein has experience handling matters involving commercial, real estate, environmental, trade secrets, and products liability litigation (including Prop 65) in California state and federal court.

Mr. Goldstein has extensive experience representing public entities, including one of the top-10 largest cities in California, California special districts, and the Superior Court of California in several counties.  

Mr. Goldstein has been selected to Super Lawyers® Northern California Rising Stars in 2023, 2024, and 2025.  Mr. Goldstein is a 2017 cum laude graduate of the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), and a graduate of the University of Southern California.

  • Obtained judgment in favor of large California city in litigation to recover unpaid taxes.

  • Represented a major national apparel retailer in a wide range of real property and landlord-tenant litigation, including unlawful detainer, and disputes pertaining to CC&Rs violations, easements, signage, property damage, and rent appraisal.

  • Represents one of the nation’s largest healthcare management companies in personal injury lawsuits.

  • Represented a major defense contractor in toxic tort lawsuits.

  • Represented national mortgage company at trial in federal employment lawsuit in the Northern District of California.

  • Obtained dismissal for multinational Chinese car and battery manufacturer in products liability lawsuit.
