Elizabeth Fegreus practices in the area of litigation, where she represents clients on matters involving wire fraud, commercial loans and provider reimbursement. She also handles shareholder derivative lawsuits and class action lawsuits involving statutory consumer protections. Her client base encompasses highly regulated industries, including banks and financial institutions, automobile finance companies and healthcare providers.
Elizabeth also counsels employers on employee benefits, restrictive covenant agreements, employee hiring, termination and leave of absence as well as family and medical leave laws. She handles litigation concerning harassment, discrimination and retaliation before the Massachusetts state court and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
Elizabeth further advises cannabis companies on regulatory matters in connection with expanding their operations in Massachusetts.
Elizabeth’s pro bono work involves representing survivors of gender-based violence to obtain protection through the legal system.
Prior to entering private practice, Elizabeth served as judicial law clerk in the Massachusetts Juvenile Court and as a judicial clerk and research attorney at the Massachusetts Superior Court.
